It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...

Well, feel like it anyway. I called Kinko's last week and they were already referring to themselves as "your holiday shipping center" or something like that. When I was put on hold they even played Christmas music! The weather is slowly dropping, but then it gets hot again...so, I guess eventually it will get cold.

Since Seth accidentally ruined the surprise...YAY Kalen and Seth are coming two weeks from today! They'll be my first visitors! I'm really excited and I hope they have a blast.

Work is going very well. In addition to my normal duties, I am now coordinating all the conventions, trade shows, etc. that we attend, which is an extremely large task (the woman in charge of it before quit to be closer to home). Our big launch is in January and I don't want something to go wrong and have it traced back to me so I'm trying to stay on top of this stuff as much as possible.

I went and observed the Ballet and Jazz classes at the Broadway Dance Center last week and decided I wanted to take class there for sure. I was going to start last night but decided (because of the weather) I better prep myself by going shopping instead of being left in the cold ((rimshot))! I think I might take classes on the weekend instead since sometimes I want to unwind after work and I generally feel useless and unproductive on the weekends.

I've been extremely impressed with the shows I picked out for this fall's line-up. They've turned out to be good! Well, with the exception of Cavemen, which I only watched to see how bad it could be/out of curiosity. Even though I have a DVR, sometimes it decides not to work and I use the network sites to watch the shows on demand and I must say, everyone should take ABC's lead. Their on demand portion of the site is amazing and rivals every other network. In fact, I'm surprised the other networks haven't copied it by now.

Anyway, I need to get back to work. I just realized I hadn't posted in a while and thought I would quickly fill you in!

Since they're not spending tens of thousands of dollars per year on the convention employee, they should be giving you at least some of that money since you've added those duties to your responsibilities. You should ask about that.

You're a worse blogger than me. At least I've been able to manage more than one meager post in the month of October. For shame!

ps..hope you enjoyed my note. i was very bored in class and thought that would be a better way to spend it.
